The two most frequently attacked verses in the King James Bible!
Ac 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.KJB
Easter is said to be a mistake and every Greek mss. reads "pascha" which is Passover. The KJ borrowed " Easter" from Martin Luther's bible because no Greek manuscript ever found is correct in the face of Acts 12.3 cross-referred to Leviticus 23.5-6. Since we have no Original mss. and since no Greek mss. adheres to the order of the feasts, the King James translators produced an accurate Bible although as a translation, it does not match any Greek text!
1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.( not the word trinity!KJ did not use the Latin!)
The misinformation that this verse is not found in any Greek mss. and was added by late copyists as a gloss, is now a myth with an anti-Trinitarian agenda that has been accepted as fact by most people. This verse, often called The Johanine Comma, is found in the following Greek mss: #61, #88, #629 and Codex Ravianus. Further, it was quoted in 250 AD by Cyprian, Spanish Bishop Priscillian before 385 AD, Idacius Clarus and Cassadorious in the fourth and fifth centuries and Facundus in the sixth century.
EASTER AND THE THREE THAT BEAR RECORD ARE NOT FOUND IN THE ALEXANDRIAN TEXT! YOUR NASB,NIV,NLT,RSV,NCV,NKJV,ESV,THE MESSAGE,THE JEHOVAH WITNESS NWT,ETC,ETC!!

" It shall greatly help ye to understand scripture if thou mark not only what is spoken or wrythen, but of whom, with what words, at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what goeth before and what followith after"
