John MacArthur's notes on pg. 1404 in the New king James Study Bible in reference to Matthew 7.14.
NKJV Matthew 7.14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
John says and I quote " Salvation is by grace alone, BUT it's not easy.
John MacArthur says Salvation is not easy!!??
Isn't it just trusting Paul's my gospel? The Gospel of the grace of God. John doesn't even know what the Gospel is?
Here is the gospel that saves us today and it is not found nor was it known in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John! It was kept secret!
1Co 15:1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
That's pretty hard???
