One example of a significant portion of a verse omitted thereby downgrading our Lord God is in Mt 19.17 where, " Why askest thou Me concerning the good?" appears in place of " Why callest thou Me good?" This substitute wording omits the clear implication that calling Christ good was appropriate only if the man believed Him to be God. It also makes Mt. 19.17 contradict both Mk.10.18 and Lk. 18.19.
